Laurette Canyon, a nod to John Mayall and his album "Blues from Laurel Canyon", for a one-way trip to music with sounds from elsewhere.

Laure Domanski created the group in 2009 alongside Marc Gorse, met on the benches of the music school where they studied. 

​

Inspired by artists such as Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Tanya Tucker, Kasey Chambers, Chris Stapleton, the group released in 2022 their third opus "Alright" an album of compositions and collaborations with other artists. We find there on pedal steel Jean-Yves Lozac'h, on violin Danny Vriet or Emma Sempere, on dobro Manu Bertrand…….

 

In 2017, Laure received the French Highway Award….

In thirteen years of existence, the group has forged a reputation for quality at the biggest French and European country festivals: Country RDV Craponne-sur-Arzon, Evreux Country Festival, Mirande Country Festival, Santa Susanna (SP) , Visaginas country Festival (LT), Bain de Bretagne (opening by Michael Jones), La Tour de Salvagny, Festival Saint-Jean de Folleville, International Trucker and Country festival of Interlaken (CH).......
